Beauty Bay Skincare Review

Hello loves,

Let’s have a chat about Beauty Bay Skincare, they have been killing it recently with the launch of its own products, from makeup & brushes to skincare. And everything is super affordable too so there no need to break the bank! Win-win.

So over the last two weeks, I’ve been testing out some of the products from the Beauty Bay skincare range. I picked up the Day One Moisturiser, Skin Fixer Clay Mask & the Thirst Trap Moisturiser.

Now you’re probably wondering why I got two different moisturisers, well my skin has been super dry the past few months. My regular light moisturiser just wasn’t cutting it anymore, I wanted something thicker & more hydrating.

The Thirst Trap:

The Thirst Trap claims to make dehydrated skin a thing of the past. It comes in a pretty big tub (size) which I actually quite like for thick moisturiser. It doesn’t smell of anything is & colorless once applied. I tend to only use this before bed or if I’m having a makeup-free day as it tends to make my foundation slide off.

This nourishing hydrator sinks into the skin to nourish and replenish the complexion during the day or whilst you sleep.” – BeautyBay

Day One Moisturiser:

The Day One Moisturiser is a lightweight gel-cream moisturiser that claims to help protect and hydrate the skin. I use this every morning before I apply my makeup, it has such a refreshing scent – almost minty which is such a nice fresh smell in the morning. Plus it doesn’t react with my makeup either.

Skin Fixer Clay Mask

I’ve always been a clay mask gal, I love watching it change color as it dries, it makes me feel like it’s actually doing something to my skin. This mask is no different, I just applied it to my t-zone & problems areas, left it for around 15 minutes or until it’s fully dry & then wash off. It visibly dried out a small spot I had above my brow but did nothing to those under the skin bumps.

This gentle clay mask has been formulated to help refine and mattify congested, break-out prone skin that’s in need of some TLC. – BeautyBay

Overall, I think for the price the products are great for the price. They’re really great for someone on a budget or if you’re just testing different products to find what suits your skin type. If you’re looking for some other skincare then have a look at My Morning and Evening Skincare Routine.

I’d say if you’re interested in any of the products then it’s worth picking them up as they will react differently to everyone’s skin type. So i

Until next time,

Louise, xo
