6 Books I’ve Read & Rated During Lockdown So Far!

May 14, 2020

I was never a huge book reader when I was growing up, I’d be the person who would wait for the movie version to be released instead. The last few months in lockdown has led me to start reading some books so I figured I would share my monthly reads with you. Here are 6 Books I’ve Read & Rated During Lockdown So Far!

I’ve seen a lot of people in the same situation as me where they have taken up reading during the last few months. Here are some books I’ve read & what I’d rate them 1-5. I intend to write a full review on each book but for now this is just a list of what I’ve read. Be sure to keep a lookout on my Twitter to be notified when I post the full reviews.

I recently finished Help Me! by Marianne Power and I quite enjoyed it, although it was a bit slow in place. It had some good ideas behind it though and I’d be willing to try a similar experiment! 😂 I also LOVED The Cows – I’d never read anything like it. It was funny, sad, and it was actually quite refreshing to read about topics that are often shied away from in most books. I’ve heard So Lucky by Dawn O’Porter is really good and along similar themes so I’m going to give that one ago soon! xx

Lockdown 3.0 has probably been my most reflective Lockdown 3.0 has probably been my most reflective so far. I’ve spent a lot of time focusing on what it is that I want to achieve in this coming year, I’ve upped my self care game which is often a struggle when my mental health takes a turn. I’ve spent hours just reading, something I’d never usually do.
✨
Taking the last three weeks since the start of the year to really get to know myself. And learning each day to love myself whilst improving myself 🥰
✨
I can’t wait to see where this year takes me. I’m so ready for new challenges, self love & happiness 💛
